With hands-on, interactive, and multimedia stations, there’s plenty to discover—surprising, fun, and exciting for all ages! You’ll also learn along the way why all of this is so important for species conservation.
And best of all: The exhibition is also a perfect choice when the weather isn’t cooperating.
New: An Exciting Legend Trail in Bautzen
The Bautzen Legend Trail takes you on an exciting journey through the historic old town. 🧚 The project combines Bautzen’s historic trading history with the region’s rich treasure trove of legends, particularly Sorbian ones. At an initial total of ten stationary and six mobile points, you’ll encounter selected regional legendary figures who tell their stories or invite you to explore the city in a playful way. 🔎
A scannable QR code turns the stories at each station into a very special audio experience. In addition, the audio versions are accessible via Braille, the Audoria app, and the
SmartGuide app—initially in German and Upper Sorbian. The tour is complemented by playful elements that invite visitors to discover, collect, and participate, while also creating connections to downtown offerings in retail, dining, culture, and leisure.
